Getting People on Board: Leading Through Change
A Group Coaching Experience for Leaders
You know the change needs to happen.
The harder part is getting everybody else on board.
Whether you're introducing a new process, reorganizing a team, implementing a new strategy, changing expectations, or simply asking people to work differently, resistance is normal. But resistance doesn't always mean people are unwilling to change. Sometimes they don't understand the change. Sometimes they don't trust it. Sometimes they can see problems you haven't considered. And sometimes they're simply trying to figure out what the change means for them.
Getting People on Board is an interactive group coaching experience designed to help leaders understand and lead the human side of change.
Dr. Nicole Price will introduce participants to a practical coaching model they can use to move conversations from resistance toward ownership. Participants will also experience negative brainstorming, a surprisingly powerful tool that invites people to identify everything that could go wrong—so leaders can uncover concerns, anticipate barriers, and build stronger plans before those concerns become resistance.
This isn't about convincing everybody to love every change.
It's about understanding people well enough to lead them through it.
You'll leave able to:
Recognize what may actually be underneath resistance to change.
Use coaching questions instead of immediately defending or explaining.
Create space for people to express concerns without allowing the conversation to become unproductive.
Use negative brainstorming to uncover obstacles before they derail implementation.
Turn employee concerns into useful information for better decisions.
Build greater ownership and accountability during periods of change.
Best for: Leaders, managers, supervisors, project leaders, change champions, and anyone responsible for helping people navigate something new.
